Job Summary:
The Revenue Director will lead and manage all aspects of revenue accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. This role involves overseeing revenue recognition, billing, collections, and audits, while driving process improvements and providing strategic insights to support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement revenue accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Lead and mentor a revenue accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal, and finance, to resolve revenue-related issues and provide guidance.
- Oversee external audits related to revenue accounting, ensuring timely and accurate responses to auditor inquiries.
- Analyze revenue trends, provide insights, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with financial systems and software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Salary range: $205,000 - $265,000 per year.
