About the Team
The Global Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team is responsible for aligning effective sourcing and purchasing strategies with long-term business goals. This team conducts the business process to analyze, review, and implement third-party external spend, while ensuring procurement resources are efficient and focused on important categories or larger company initiatives.
About the Role
The Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing & Category Management will be part of the Global Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team. This is a new individual contributor role for our team. You will start as a generalist covering Corporate Services and Technology, and eventually move into a specialist role, based on business needs and preference. You will collaborate with leaders and operators across the company to provide cost savings and positively impact free cash flow.
Examples of subcategories supported include:
- Professional services, Staff augmentation, SAAS, Hardware, Infrastructure etc.
- You will report into the Senior Manager on our Global Strategic Sourcing team in our Finance organization.

- Lead global sourcing (RFx) projects, negotiate deals (MSAs/SOWs), and manage a sizable spend across a broad range of subcategories.
- Influence, educate and manage internal partners on best practices for sourcing and contracting towards long-term solutions.
- Benchmark and facilitate best practices, analyze and monitor compliance; drive improvements through reporting and recommendations.
- Review and drive execution of contracts with a focus on commercial terms: pricing, payment terms, volume commitments, rebates, etc; liaise with the legal team in the execution of agreements.

- 5+ years of experience in a strategic sourcing/category management role for indirect categories with some expertise in Corporate services and Technology
- Successfully developed relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, preferably at a medium to large startup
- Operated quickly to improve value for priority spend sub categories
- Juggled simultaneous projects with competing timelines and stakeholders, with precision and accuracy
- Collaborated and knowledge shared with both immediate and broader teams
