Job Description:
We are looking for a Menu Operations Associate to support our menu UI features. You'll be focused on updating and tracking item quality across the  restaurant marketplace. You will have the opportunity to work with product and partnerships teams to drive the long term strategy.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Building reporting to understand current state of items on restaurant menus as well as track item quality metrics
  • Reviewing Menu Data and enhancing with additional tags / metadata
  • Implementing bulk menu update processes including photos and menu item changes at scale
  • Working closely with DoorDash cross functional teams to ensure we are following procedures and best practices
  • Tracking progress against key business objectives including sales volume, GMV impact, and attachment rate Performing informational interviews with Merchants and Customers to better understand their menu problems and experience with our menu features to improve our products
  • Complete adhoc menu requests aligning with business objectives
  • Streamlining processes when optimizations are available
  • Creation of Go-to -Market materials to educate Merchants about new features (ex: pitch decks)
 
Required skills:
  • SQL knowledge required
  • Coachable on Technology and Data - Ability to use communication and collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, Google Sheets in addition to internal systems 
  • Ability to learn and execute on multi-step processes such as menu creation, onboarding set up etc
  • Ability to operate at the lowest level of detail with excellent accuracy and productivity
  • Excellent Communication and Time-Management Skills - Ability to effectively articulate issues, understand problems and implement solutions
  • You are comfortable working across multiple projects, teams and priorities - and hitting deadlines
  • Experience with manipulating large datasets or dashboards is a big plus
