As a Human Resources Business Partner, you play a critical role within the management team, cultivating strong relationships and advising leaders on refining their leadership styles to foster talent development and ensure strategic alignment. You provide customized policy recommendations and enhance programs that support the agency's broader objectives. Acting as a trusted advisor, you address people-related challenges, offering expert guidance and actionable solutions to ensure progress toward key performance indicators. Whether reviewing job classifications, assisting with employee concerns, or facilitating a smooth exit interview process, you ensure that every action is in line with compliance standards and best practices. You consistently expand your expertise and contribute wherever necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
- Master's degree in a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of relevant state and federal laws and regulations
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification (preferred)
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now and EE Navigator (preferred)
