Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee the Program Management Office (PMO) within the Customer Experience (CX) organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects, planning cycles, tracking goal performance, and enhancing overall CX through effective program management and communication. In addition to ad hoc project management, duties include:
Planning and Performance Tracking:
- Oversee planning cycles, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Track and manage goal performance, ensuring alignment with key objectives.
- Develop and implement mechanisms for regular performance reporting.
- Create or refine mechanisms to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Facilitate transparent and consistent communication between teams and senior leadership.
- Prepare and present comprehensive status reports, dashboards, and project updates.
- Enable tradeoff decisions from senior leadership by providing key insights and data.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path items.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with business objectives.
- Process Improvement and Resource Management:
- Continuously evaluate processes and implement improvements to optimize CX program management operations.
- Develop and enforce PMO policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage resources effectively to meet project demands and priorities.
SKILLS
Ideal candidate has 3+ years of project management experience, is an excellent communicator, has attention to detail, highly organized and is excited to manage a PMO across a large organization.
Project Management Expertise:
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage planning cycles and key milestones.
- Familiar with working backwards plans and managing documentation
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create effective communication channels and mechanisms.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to identify issues, resolve conflicts, and implement solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within a PMO setting.
- Experience in customer experience or tech industry is a plus.
