Job Description:
Reporting into the Group Creative Director, the Copywriter (Contract) will work closely with a Designer partner and other creatives, as well as a small but mighty team of marketing professionals to build engaging marketing communications and direct-response campaigns that extend across owned (email, landing pages, stories) and paid channels for the tax business vertical.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create new innovative, engaging and high-performing digital marketing for an array of channels including landing pages, emails, in-app modules and paid digital.
- Refresh existing creative assets to bring them in line with current tone of voice guidelines, best digital practices and in compliance with the latest legal requirements.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, present work to key stakeholders and make creative recommendations on work that best fits the goals for our business and our members
What you’ll get to do:
- Team up with other creatives to concept ideas for upcoming campaigns
- Develop highly engaging copy for those campaigns, across a variety of channels —including digital, email, social, web pages and digital video
- Bring fresh and innovative ideas that help scale the tax business and raise brand awareness in the category
- Collaborate with creative performance marketers and product teams and present creative work to key stakeholders
What we expect:
- 4+ years experience in advertising for a consumer brand, either at an agency or in-house
- A selection of work that includes real examples of hard-working digital copywriting
- A confident communicator
- A keen eye for detail and ability to edit own work and make creative recommendations to key stakeholders
- Experience with consumer finance helpful
