Accounts Payable Manager

Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid, 4 days a week)
Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, vendor management, and team supervision. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The manager will ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as Sarbanes-Oxley requirements when applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise AP staff, including consultants, and review their work for accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure invoices are accurately coded and have the appropriate documentation and approval.
- Oversee the preparation of payments.
- Perform other special projects and analyses as directed by management.
- Oversee and review the processing of invoices prior to payment for proper support and approvals, discrepancies, and appropriate coding.
- People management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to support facilitating upkeep of department procedures, file structure and compliance of record keeping, achievement of routine and project deadlines, and effective teamwork.
- Experience managing the Procure to Pay process.
- $130k-170k
