Originally from Delaware, Joseph moved to the Bay Area as a teenager and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he was an academic All-American in Track and Field. He started off his career as a Systems Administrator then transitioned into a Project Manager position. A project led him to CVPartners and he stayed to lead a recruitment division, later moving up to Managing Director, leading retained, contingent, and consulting services. CVPartners would then be acquired by Addison Group, which led to the Technology group forming a company called Arete Partners, where he was one of the founding leaders.
With the opportunity of building his own team from scratch, Joseph joined DeWinter Group in 2017. He is now Managing Director of DeWinter Group’s retained search division,
DeWinter Partners
, specializing in technology.
Outside of work, Joseph enjoys running, playing soccer, and exploring the great outdoors. He also coaches Track and Field with his wife at Castilleja High School in Palo Alto, the only non-sectarian all-girls school in the San Francisco Bay Area.
